Manila, Philippines, Aprill 12, 2010 – Trends & Technologies Holding, Inc. (TTHI), the umbrella organization for some of today’s leading Information and Communications Technology companies, holds a yearly Summer Sportsfest for its employees. This year, the competition has moved to the hard court with the inauguration of thrilling Basketball and Badminton tournaments.

The opening ceremonies were held last March 27, 2010 at the Finman Court at Salcedo Village, Makati City. The event was graced by members of the TTHI board of directors as well as the various teams who flashed their banners and uniforms in the parade of colors.

The event also bore witness to the annual TTHI Cheering Competition where the teams showed their cooperation and teamwork through choreographed cheer and dance routines. In the end, it was the Black Team who took home the cash prize and vacation package using their contemporary hip-hop moves.

The award for Best Team Muse was also handed out during the said event. It was the lovely Ms. Marilyn Pacis who was deemed fairest among the team muses. Host, Joey Taniajura gladly presented the award and gifts to Ms. Pacis.

The opening ceremony was then followed by the first basketball game of the tournament with Team Yellow defeating Team Red by a huge lead. The games will continue throughout the month until the winners have finally been decided.The awarding and closing ceremony for the TTHI Summer Sportsfest 2010 will happen on May 29 and the entire organization is looking forward to the auspicious event.

Manila, Philippines, December 21, 2009 – In celebration of the holiday spirit, Trends & Technologies Holding Inc. (TTHI) held its annual Christmas Party last December 19, 2009 at the Makati Shangri La Hotel. Following the “Sparkling White” theme for the night, the employees, administration and management of the various TTHI affiliates, all arrived clad in their best white outfits. As seen in the photo above, the costumes ranged from familiar icons of pop culture to well-known occupational and sports uniforms. The best dressers of the night were given the title of Mr. and Ms. Sparkling White and they went to Mr. Lauriano Samiano Jr. who dressed up as the King of Pop and Ms. Geraldine de Asa who strutted down the runway as the Queen of Narnia.

To add to the night’s festivities, the highly-anticipated yearly competition among the various departments and affiliates of the holding company was also held. For the second year in a row, the groups battled it out in a Music Video Competition. Combining the theme of White Christmas with the company’s corporate values, the music videos showcased the undeniable ingenuity, passion and talent within the organization. Ultimately, it was the Operations and Logistics Group that bagged 2nd Runner-up, the Enterprise and Business Group getting 1st Runner-up, and again the defending champs, the Finance and SAP Groups taking home the title of Champion together with the PHP50, 000 cash prize.

Aside from the fun and celebration it was also a time for TTHI to give acknowledgement and due appreciation for its employees. Members of the staff who have been with the company for five and ten years were given special tokens of appreciation while at the same time, the best employees for 2009 were also announced and recognized.

The Trends & Technologies Holding Inc. Sparkling White Christmas Party was indeed a success thanks to everybody’s participation. As one family, the entire company celebrated the holiday season, the successes of 2009 and the promise of another prosperous year.
